Inspire One Other

The City of Rochester has a history of property owners investing in major sculptural art pieces.
The installations bring richness to their identity and role in the community.
The list includes several community mainstays:
- RMSC
- Rundell Library
- Strong Museum
- MAG
In addition, major privately owned buildings like the Metropolitan and Legacy Tower have made
similar artistic statements.
Rochester’s City Parks incorporate, in their landscape design, remarkable art pieces that
enhance their designed environment..
Sometimes a building facade can form the canvas for a large-scale mural or projected imagery
that has a unique impact.
All these varied artistic statements form a layer of energy that helps bind our city together in a
common language of art.

The following is a listing of major outdoor pieces that can be experienced, either sequentially ona walking tour, or individually as a destination.The tour begins at the Rochester Museum andScience Center and ends at the Strong Museum (about 2.5 mile--see map below pictures:
